Rene Pedersen,one of Bayside Customs Directors,accompanied by Stefan Berg, photographer for H.D Bike Magazine, ventured over to the USA to see first hand how the car industry operates in the largest Custom Car market in the world. Whilst there, Rene attended the SEMA Car Show 2007, which offers an impressive 2.5 million square feet of undercover area containing the industry's latest products and brightest minds.

This is an industry only show that is not open to the general public, but attracts 120,000 industry leaders from over 100 countries. With a remarkable 14.5 miles of aisles bursting with ideas and innovations. They visited Chip Foose's factory, Boyd Coddington's and the West Coast Customs Factory(and met Jesse James himself). They also went to the Pomona Swap Meet which was a 12 hour show, starting at the bright and early time of 5.30am and the Bakersfield Reunion Nostalgic Drags and Swap Meet

Attending the opening of the Petersen Automotive Museum, which is an incredible journey outlining  the evolution of the Automobile over the last 100 years.

The trip was a 26 day adventure, with many highlights for them both. But their perception of the American way and their hospitality  and cultures, were that they were all very friendly and accommodating. Their knowledge and experience with the Custom Car Industry is second to none!
